Time Traveling at Cape Arago
After I made my slideshow last weekend, Meditation at Cape Arago, I still felt I had more to think and to say about that time-deep place. This is a meditation on the geology and human scale at Cape Arago.

Potent archetypal images and story. Thank you.
Maestro – loved it. Art, science, history, pathos and perspective.
Ditto Maria 😉
Viewing the images, I appreciate the slow linger on each image, appropriate to the subject of deep time. The shot of my own daughter as a small child. She now has teen children of her own. The juxtaposition of humans and our relatively short human life. This is beauty, this is art.
I had a very different response to this one from the meditation you created with some of the same material. The meditation took me inside, transported, little thought, just my own sensations. For me it was sublime.
This one focused on you, your memories, and thoughts about things – the age and creation of the rock, etc. For me its purpose was a window into your experience, and it was touching in a different way.
I also think having voice narration immediately makes a difference from only music and images. The voice takes you to another person, makes a relationship beyond the images.
Some how missed this! Cheryl and Rose couldn’t have said it better.
Thank you Sandra Brown Jensen for sharing you in such a deep personal way.
