What provoked my thoughts is the fact that you used steel and wood bridges as visuals. I liked the images for themselves, but they didn’t seem to marry with ‘only emerge from the deepest dark’. The space images did connect with my inner experience. The bridges I felt Don was talking about are so non-constructed, emerging as a result of activity of thought or feeling about something unrelated, or in the quietest moments.
I know you often have little time to put a video together, and need to use what is to hand. : )
I love the way you marry the visuals with the words, creating a multidimensional message or story. Powerful combo, each enhancing the other.
Reminds me of William Jensen: my father’s hopes for human beings led him to work on designing bridges and hospitals.
