I have been having fun learning how to use the movie trailer feature that comes free with i-Movie to do various quick effect projects. Each is 60 to 90 seconds long. I have used the templates to learn how to tell a story quickly, and at the same time, I have learned to ignore the prompts from i-Movie. Here are four that have been both fun and useful:
The first one I made was as an invitation to my husband Peter’s 70th birthday party:

The second one was for my sister Cheryl Renee Long to advertise her Fabulous Flowing Watercolor classes:
Do You Dream in Watercolor?
And the third was as a thank you “note” to Reflections Salon in Coburg, OR, where I get my hair done:
The third will act as a “Welcome to your Online WR 121 Class!” in the Moodle classroom this fall:
I love your little trailers, Sandy, and, most especially, the way you have integrated them so well. I really “feel” as I watch them. I will continue with ds106 this fall and I look forward to looking more and more for your work. I expect that we have several interests in common.
