Who Knew Baronnies National Park Was Only a Mile Up the Road?

Eygues River
The Eygues River runs west out of the Baronnies National Park on its way to join the Rhone River.

It turns out that this little town of Nyons is the gateway to Baronnes National Park—who knew? So we left around 7 pm for a two or three hour exploration of the gorge up in the park. The light wasn’t the best, but have iPhone, will travel! This is a little slide show of our preliminary visit—we are definitely going to take a picnic and go further and stay longer next time.
