I declare the primacy of DOING NOTHING...

Nothing Doing

In this, my first summer of retirement, I declare the primacy of DOING NOTHING.

I am determined to do as much nothing as my obsessive-compulsive little soul can muster.

In this video, Peter and I set out to do as little as possible on Hosmer Lake, which is in the high Oregon Cascades, about three hours from Eugene.

My companions on this great journey to nowhere are the dragonflies, the ducklings, the fish at the bottom of the channel. They are busy mating and eating.

We’re just floating along, nothing doing whatsoever…

(Filmed on iPhone 6+S and Go Pro because my iPhone doesn’t like to get its expensive little feet wet.)
