When you visit Hawaii, a lu’au can be just an expensive, touristy party, or you can look deeper into the ways tourism continues to drive the renaissance of ancient Hawaiian arts of storytelling, hula, ritual, chant, drumming, and, of course, feasting!
I chose to tell this story also using the Storehouse iPad app (which I also used for Journey of Mud and Honey).It views beautifully on your computer screen. I like it because of the magazine style layout with the addition of thirty second videos; however, Peter says he is not enamored of it as a publishing platform, and I am interested to know what other people think?

I didn’t get any 30 sec. videos or music…was it part of the story or not. Pictures were colorful and transmitted the event well. I couldn’t find the sound icon either…but, I’ve been there and know something of the magic…thanks
I couldn’t hear music either and no sound icon. I did enjoy the story, but I think sound would have changed the experience.
I didn’t get the story! I got sound for the percussion, but that part kept looping and wouldn’t go any further.
I finally got it, the whole luau experience (except the food!). Lovely to share all of this.
Thanks for the additional info about scrolling down the page. There was no problem when I did that, sound and videos were all there.
