Fields of Gold

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA
October 24, 2013 found me visiting Seattle to go to a conference. I came a day early so Cheryl and I would have an Art Play Day–and what a day it was! We planned for one destination, but as the sun got lower in the sky, we instead stopped in the surreal basin of the lowered reservoir.

You leave me with tears in my heart of gratitude for profoundly being alive here on Planet Earth. What is given to us daily through nature is so beautifully produced through your images. Your selection of music heightens my experience and I am at one with all of it!! True artistry!

A lovely ode to autumn and a reminder to take time to appreciate the wondrous seasonal gifts of nature. All we have to do is look with our hearts, and the abundance of the earth is laid out before us in all its colorful majesty. Thank you for this joyous journey into autumn.

An incongruous pair of words describe “Fields of Gold” for me:

    Skimming Deep.

Lightly riding the music through your images, each spiraling pass takes me back and back, deeper, until I find myself on the inside it all.

Okay Wow. Golden dog led you to this year’s turned leaves. All I got to do was draw Kwak-waka-wak faces and read in Steve’s new translation of the Odyssey. See you this evening when your plane lands after the fungi show at Pisgah.

Georgeous….I too have been enjoying the spectacular fall. I even took a picture of a tree in its blazing glory.

I loved sharing this day with the two of you! And the golden dog!

You got some wonderful compositions, and the colours are exhilarating.

For whatever it’s worth, the display mode didn’t work well for me – too much unrelated activity. I would have preferred a normal slideshow, with maybe a second longer on each shot. They’re worth absorbing.

    Thanks and love!

In the midst of work, I stop and check out what’s new with Mind on Fire. And I am completely there, in the moment, with you. I almost always tear up – today in the simple fall beauty and the song I love so much. Gracias!
