Back to Life

I love this new poem by Don Hynes, Portland poet, and as I was headed for the Oregon Coast anyway…

This was so intense I actually held my breath. Emotional, powerful, poignant. The images are spot on. Great art and once again, all the more beautiful because of the poem/image collaboration.

I’m honored Sandy. These poem come to life within me but then they have their own life in others. Your rendering of the poem with the images of Earth deepen what I had seen in my mind’s eye and make it all beautifully tangible. Thank you.

The communion of the words, with voice and images brings union between nature and the heart of humankind. The lingering sound of the ocean waves performs the eternal dance.

Don, the wedding of your poem and
Sandra’s images is breathtaking beautiful. I would like to be resting on the shore as this moving poetic imagery plays
    across the trembling coastal sky.
