Unexpected Journeys

In my graduate class on Digital Storytelling and Culture, I did a Field Report on the Dream Big Scholarship Competition Workshops I held for students Fall 2012. In addition to a paper,(that’s a link to my Field Project Paper that goes with this) we grad students were asked to do a “presentation,” so this digital story summarizing the project is to fulfill that assignment.

Poignant and powerful, Sandy – stories that would have less impact if told in a less flexible medium. And the fabulous photo of you at the end is terrific! We get to see who has been seeing.

Great work Sandy. You are a teacher, a noble and honorable path. The drawing forth you do, the enlarging of each student’s personal story, is a gift that will bless and enrich them throughout their lives.

    Don,
Thank you for your warm thoughts. I agree that my students stories are a gift and a blessing to the world; thank you for having the eyes and heart to “see” that!
